Watson Scholars received grants through the Dean’s Diversity Fund, which was established in 2015 to help recruit and retain faculty who share the UCSF School of Medicine’s commitment to diversity and our deep belief that, as a leading public university, we have the responsibility to care for underserved and vulnerable populations. The grants awarded provide these faculty with the time and support needed to further develop their academic interests, as well as pursue activities that contribute to the community.
